It's getting cold outside!  Last night, the low temperature was 7 F (that's -14 C).  But, Minnesota gets much colder in the winter.  This is only the beginning!   Also, there is no snow, so biking to work is not a problem.

My sister's boyfriend is home for the holidays this week.  They go out to eat a lot, so I don't have to cook for them, but I am still busy.  I have plans with friends on both Saturday and Sunday.

Today, I tried curling my hair.  It worked very well!  But I didn't know my hair would be that short when it's curly.  

It's kind of cute, though. ^^

Long Time no See!

Hi, everybody!  It's been a long time since I wrote, isn't it?

Many things have happened in the past two months.

First, I got a job.  I am a teacher at Parent's Choice for Kids childcare center.  A "childcare center" is like a nursery school and a kindergarten in the same place.  In my classroom, there are 7 children, between the ages of 18 and 24 months.  They are very cute!  Every day, I bike or walk to work.  It's about 15 minutes by bike, or about 35 minutes on foot.   

Second, my birthday was two weeks ago!  I am 26 years old now.  Man, I'm getting old! (>_<)

Finally, my sister and I are foster parents.  Not for a child, though -- for a cat!  There is a shelter called Rainbow Rescue, where you can foster cats for free!  The shelter pays for food, litter, and vet bills.  All you need to do is give it love. <3

The cat's name is Cricket, because she chirps when she's happy.  She is about 8 months old, and very energetic!  Here are some pictures.
